Tim Bishop is a Muruwari descendant and First Nations Creative Producer in the Experience & Engagement branch of the Australian Museum. He was born on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra) and grew up on Darug Country (Sydney).

Academic and professional qualifications include graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2022 at the University of Sydney in Linguistics and Indigenous Studies, and a Diploma in Dance from NAISDA Dance College in 2002. Tim had worked in the Community Arts and Cultural Development sector as an administrator, producer, dance teacher and freelance dance artist from 2007-2017. Tim also performed nationally and internationally with Bangarra Dance Theatre from 2003-2006.

Tim is passionate about, and continues to share culture through traditional Aboriginal dance and song performances.
